The purpose of this photographic assignment was to find patterns and within everyday life. Going on walks around the city, I began to notice the number of patterns existing within structures such as buildings and benches. I sought to capture those curves and repetitions that often go unnoticed.
Photos taken on a DSLR camera and edited on Adobe Bridge and Photoshop.
This project’s assignment was open-ended and allowed us to explore whatever we were most curious about within the realm of photography. Being very interested in Surrealism, I focused this body of photos on making objects appear different than how they are. I wanted to capture the textures of different materials and how much they could be distorted with light and shadows. Photos taken on DSLR camera and edited in Adobe Bridge and Photoshop.
