During my co-op as an Art Director at The Smart Set, I created numerous images for weekly articles published on the website. Wanting to improve my digital illustration abilities, I experimented with different digital brushes to bring pieces of the articles to life. Below are some samples of digital artworks I curated.

"Plain Sense in Buffalo" is an article about time going by and getting lost in memories. "In Srinagar" tells of an account of a visit to Srinagar and its intertwined political tensions with India and Pakistan lying on both borders. For this article, I wanted to highlight some aspects of the article, "Getting the Picture" that touched on the way people travel but only look through their phones nowadays, and don't really experience the places they visit. A story about the author's journey through a silent mediation retreat, "Meditate on" captures moments of peace discovered along the way.
